The Beet Smoothie
- 120 ml (½ cups) pomegranate juice
- 1 orange, peeled, halved
- ½ lemon, peeled, halved
- 35 g (¼ cups) beetroot, quartered
- 50 g (½ cups) fresh parsley leaves, tightly packed
- 60 g (2 cups) spinach
- 3 cm (1 inch) fresh ginger root
- 195 g (1½ cups) ice cubes
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
- Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
